The Hollow Earth conspiracy theory that suggests a separate world exists in earth's core

One of my favorite categories to write about on this blog is anything conspiracy theory related. The more insane the theory is - the better. I view conspiracy theories as a great way to keep curiosity active and encourage question asking.

But at any rate, let’s get into a personal favorite conspiracy theory of mine.

The Hollow Earth conspiracy theory suggests that a separate world exists within the core of our earth.

Certain people believe that the earth has a hollow center, and if you think about it, the core concept of this idea has kind of been around since forever.

Common Christian themes infer that heaven exists above us, and hell exists below us, which essentially would be inside of the earth’s core - technically supporting the hollow earth theory.

The true theory of Hollow Earth is a bit different though, because instead of a fiery pit of hell, they believe that the world existing inside of earth is a paradise.

People commonly refer to this as Agartha and there are some images online depicting what this looks like, like this below.

Hollow Earth conspiracy theorists believe that within our earth exists a glorious place with perfect temperatures. They believe the land is rich, fertile, and nutrient filled, and due to this, that the people who live within Hollow Earth can live to be hundreds of years old, and taller than 10 feet!

They also believe that certain animals grow to huge sizes, and that species can exist within Hollow Earth that have died above the surface.

It’s said that the human species that exist in Hollow Earth are more advanced and intelligent than humans on earth - almost like a gentle, genius race similar to how we think Aliens would be.

There are other sub-conspiracies off of the Hollow Earth theory. One theory suggests that Hitler never died, and that he escaped into Hollow Earth

Okay, yes, this one is a bit more out there. But stay with me, folks!

Those who believe in the Hollow Earth theory say that the entrance into Hollow Earth can be found at the North and South poles, and the Nazis were actually huge proponents of this theory. They even had maps and detailed writing about this.

Some people believe that Hitler escaped, and travelled with Nazis into Hollow Earth, where he still lives today. Seriously, haha. You can check it out online at places like gaia.com, this article especially.

This kind of takes away the theory that the people in Hollow Earth are a kind and intelligent, gentle race of people hahaha. But it’s fun to think about, the idea of people escaping into Hollow Earth.

There are also other conspiracy theories branching off of this one about the center of earth. I wrote last month about the conspiracy theory that there is no “bottom of the ocean” and that instead of a core, some conspiracy theorists believe that our world is filled with water, with floating continents above the water.

Whether or not Hollow Earth exists, I think it’s a fun - relatively harmless - conspiracy theory that’s prime material for daydreaming about during your day job. I also think it’s interesting that so many conspiracy theories center around things that we don’t know much about.

It makes sense that conspiracy theories are made about space, or the bottom of the ocean, or the center of the earth - they’re all places that we haven’t traveled to ourselves, so I always find it interesting when people argue strictly against these conspiracy theories. After all…to say Hollow Earth doesn’t exist, you would have had to gone to the center of the earth yourself and see something different than Agartha.

Let me know if you’ve heard of Hollow Earth theory before!

Until the next one,
